The MODELX has a torque range of X.XX – X.XX Nm. The scale etched into the driver’s clutch case (0 – 8) is for reference only.
Below is a chart that will give you an idea of where to set the driver to your desired torque. Actual output could vary approximately +/-10%
For better torque verification, we recommend a torque meter like our DRTQ series.
For best torque verification, we recommend performing a ‘first movement torque test’ using a dial or digital type torque wrench.
First Movement Torque Test:
Once the threaded fastener is tightened, select a torque measuring tool. Mark the tightened fastener and surrounding application. In the tightening direction, begin to slowly apply force to the tool until the first movement in the fastener is noted. The reading recorded is a good indication of the original torque applied to the joint.

Contact UsOur Delta Regis Electric Drivers utilize precise mechanical clutches for repeatable performance.
The factory target values are:
32VDC Shut-off Clutch / 120VAC Brushless Models: +/- 3%
12VDC / 40VDC: +/- 5%
Please note that actual repeatability is joint dependent. It will vary based on factors such as joint type and consistency, lubrication, speed, operator input, and test equipment.
